Attention: Immunization Requirements
In North Carolina all 7th grade students must have Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines within the first 30 days they start school. If the school hasn't received by the 30th calendar day from the first day of a child's attendance a record of completed immunization or a physician’s note stating an immunization series is in progress, the principal is required by law to exclude the child from school on the 31st day until the parent provides documentation. If your child has not received the Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines by by August 29, 2017, he/she will not be permitted to attend school until your child receives the vaccinations. Contact your child's counselor if you have any questions.

Academic Improvement
Report cards will go home the week that students track back in on Friday, January 26.
Please encourage students to review PowerSchool to see why they earned the grades they earned and set a goal for passing grades in each class.
Was a lot of work missing? Students can improve their grades by writing down assignments in their agenda each day and turning in ALL assignments on time. If test/assessment grades were low, students should plan to take notes in class each day and review them at night, as well as ask teachers for extra help.
