Time Flies When You're Having Fun Learning!
Can you believe it ? We are in the 4th quarter ~ the final inning of our academic year. Students will take home report cards on Friday, April 27th. Look over your student's report card and discuss their progress. Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) policy (5530) requires grade-level proficiency in reading and mathematics in order to be promoted to the next grade level in grades 6-8. To be promoted, students must meet test proficiency standards and receive a passing grade (D or better) in: Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies or Science, Half of all remaining courses taken. Contact your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
Registration for 7th Grade
On March 12, 13, 16, 19 and 21, Mrs. Hardy-Evans will be in the math classrooms to do the 2018-19 registration. Students will select their elective choices for next school year. Check your student's choices in Power School.

Help Your Child Use Technology Responsibly
- Educate yourself about technology and know which social media sites your child and her friends are using.
- Warn your child about the importance of privacy and the dangers of predators and texting inappropriate pictures.
- Know who your child is communicating with online.
- Keep the lines of communication open with your child and let him know you are there for questions and concerns.
